Gen-Z ‘Youth & Students Worker’
Main purpose of job
-
Make Jesus known to youth and students - In local areas, secondary schools and colleges in a Real, Relevant and Relational way.

Discipling youth and students to follow Jesus - Encouraging young people into Christian communities.

Enthusiastically teaching the Bible. Leading by Example
Key tasks
-
To develop and pioneer new ministries and outreach amongst Generation Z.

To serve within Gateway Church, to initiate and strengthen ministry among
-
youth and students, alongside teams of volunteers.

To develop connections within local places of education, and competent in
-
offering Christian resources.

To take a lead role in Christian outreach events, in partnership with other local
-
churches.
Other information
The successful applicant will be accountable to the Line Manager, Management Team and wider church Leadership Team. The Gen-Z worker is expected to worship and be part of the fellowship of Gateway Church. Also, to agree to Gateway’s Basis of
Faith (Evangelical Alliance).
The post is up to 30 hours per week and is currently flexible. Salary is pro-rata up to
£20,280.
It is a one year post, with a view of extension.

Gen-A ‘Children & Schools Worker’
Main purpose of job

Discipling children to follow Jesus - Encouraging children into Christian communities. Enthusiastically teaching the Bible. Leading by Example.
Key tasks

To build on foundations laid by previous Generation-Alpha (Gen-A) worker
(2020-2025). -
To serve within Gateway Church to initiate and strengthen children’s ministry,
alongside teams of volunteers. -
To develop further connections with local primary schools, offering Christians
assemblies, lessons and other resources. -
To take a lead role in Christian outreach events, in partnership with other local
churches.
Other information
