Food Bank is open on THURSDAYS
(11.00am-1.00pm) and only for collection outside the Mottram Hall building - with minimal contact (New Lodge venue is closed). If you are in self-isolation,
the
following mobile numbers can be called, if you are unable to collect or find someone to shop for you.

This is for food items and
possibly some toiletries.
Please only use the food bank
if it really is a necessity. For emergency deliveries, food
will be delivered to your door and left outside.
Please wait for the driver to
access their car before collecting.
Once you have stored everything
away please wash your hands. If possible wipe containers before storing.
REMEMBER WASH YOUR HANDS
REGULARLY AND WIPE SURFACES AM & PM EVERY DAY.

Clients receive 3 days worth of nutrionally balanced food. Therefore, any donations of dried, packet or tinned food (in date) will be gratefully received for distribution.
Please can you help replenish our stock. These are the items (see below) we particularly need. You can either drop them off on Sunday at 3.30pm, or any Thursday between 10.30am and 12noon. Please purchase Supermarket's value brands (more value for your money)
On 21st Feb 2013 Gateway Food Bank opened at Mottram Hall, the first in Barnsley, feeding 2058. On 1st Oct 2015 Gateway opened a second Food Bank at The Outreach Centre, New Lodge.
Gateway Food Bank is into its 8th year of of providing food parcels to the people of Barnsley who are in need. Over the last 7 years, Gateway has been able to feed approx. 13,265 people with enough food for 3 days (updated March 2020).
Only 3 vouchers allowed per year.
